The school year is ending – and summer is starting. And while we love having our youth home with us during the summer months, we know it can become costly. With hungry bellies eating at home, to friends having sleepovers, and our children wanting to do summer activities with friends to get out of the house. Buck Academy wants to help you save a buck this summer with some free, fun, or cheap things to do with your youth!
We know summer can be stressful – so here are a couple things you can do as a family with your youth this summer. Below are some fun free or cheap activities for the entire family.
- Go for a Nature Walk
- Set up your own obstacle course
- Make some smores
- Go Camping
- Scavenger hunts
- Play in the pool
- Take a hike
- Ride a bike
- DIY house projects
- Paint or other diy craft projects
- Beach or lake day
- Family movie night
- Board games
- Plan a day trip to a close by town or destination
Fun activities for children of all ages!
- Lemonade Stands

As always, take these summer months to teach your youth about financial consciousness. Whether it’s earnings from allowances, chores, work or other activities. This can easily be done as a family. We hope you all have a fun summer!!!
